Commission Counsel Michel Dorval introduces into evidence a dossier of documents related to the trial of Ajaib Singh Bagri and Ripudaman Singh Malik. Bruce MacFarlane (University of Manitoba) testifies under direct examination by Mr. Dorval. Mr. MacFarlane describes a study, produced at the request of the Commission, on the structural aspects of terrorist trials and the adequacy of Canadian laws and practices for dealing with terrorist trials. Mr. MacFarlane makes various policy recommendations. Commissioner John C. Major asks several related questions.
