Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182

Witness: Douglas Best

Douglas Best (Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)) testifies under direct examination by Commission Counsel Anil Kapoor. Mr. Kapoor asks the witness a series of detailed questions about his involvement in the RCMP’s Air India Task Force and about his interactions with a source identified as “Ms. E,” who was a Sikh woman associated with Ajaib Singh Bagri, an individual suspected of involvement in the plot to bomb Air India flight 182. Mr. Kapoor also asks Mr. Best about his interactions with William Dean Laurie (a member of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)) with respect to “Ms. E.”
