Witness: Jack Hooper
Jack Hooper (Assistant Deputy Director of Operations for the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS)) continues testimony. Under direct examination by Commission Counsel Paul J. J. Cavalluzzo, Mr. Hooper is questioned at length about CSIS’s alleged interference with attempts by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade (DFAIT) to obtain consensus among Canadian agencies in seeking Mr. Arar’s release from Syria.
