Léo Martel, the former Canadian consul who visited Mr. Arar eight times during Mr. Arar’s detention in Syria, continues testimony. Under examination by Commission Counsel Paul J. J. Cavalluzzo, Mr. Martel speaks about a lawsuit by Mr. Arar. He refers to allegations in the lawsuit as “a big lie.”
