Henry Hogger (former British Ambassador to Syria) continues testimony. Mr. Hogger is cross-examined by Lorne Waldman (Counsel for Mr. Arar) with questions focusing on Syria’s human rights record and on the thoroughness of Canadian consular briefing notes on Mr. Arar in Syria. Under examination by Commission Counsel Paul J. J. Cavalluzzo, Mr. Hogger assesses the actions of Canadian consul Léo Martel and former Canadian Ambassador to Syria Franco Pillarella.
