Charbonneau Commission
Justice France Charbonneau presides over the commission to examine the awarding and management of public contracts in Quebec's construction industry. This public inquiry was established in November 2011 by then Quebec Premier Jean Charest to address allegations of corruption and collusion in Quebec's construction industry and political party financing.
The witnesses for the morning session on January 21, 2013 were Gaétan Légaré (Executive Manager, Association nationale des camionneurs artisans inc.), Alexandra Pion (former receptionist, Union Montréal) and Martin Dumont (former political organizer, Union Montréal).
