Commission of Inquiry into Certain Allegations Respecting Business and Financial Dealings Between Karlheinz Schreiber and the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney

Witness: Sheila Powell

The Commission hears testimony pertaining to the fate of sixteen letters mailed by Mr. Schreiber to Prime Minister Stephen Harper in 2006 and 2007, including letters detailing financial transactions between Mr. Schreiber and Mr. Mulroney. Commission Counsel Nancy Brooks conducts examination of Sheila Powell (Director of Corporate Information Services, Privy Council Office), with questions focusing on the relationship between the Prime Minister’s Office and the Privy Council Office with respect to the handling of mail addressed to the prime minister.
