The Commission concludes the policy review phase of its inquiry. Susan Gray (Director, United Kingdom Propriety and Ethics Team) gives a presentation on the British system of ethics rules and ethics training. Ms. Gray responds to questions from the Commissioner, Lead Commission Counsel Richard Wolson, Commission Counsel Giuseppe Battista, Commission Counsel Evan Roitenberg, Commission Counsel Nancy Brooks, Craig Forcese (the Commission’s director of research), Richard Auger (Counsel for Mr. Schreiber), and Duff Conacher (Counsel for Democracy Watch). The Commission hears a presentation by Mary Dawson (Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner of Canada) on outreach and education activities of the Office of the Conflict of Interest and Ethics Commissioner. Ms. Dawson responds to questions from Ms. Brooks, the Commissioner, Mr. Forcese, Mr. Roitenberg, and Mr. Conacher.
