Commission of Inquiry into Certain Allegations Respecting Business and Financial Dealings Between Karlheinz Schreiber and the Right Honourable Brian Mulroney
The Commission continues to hear closing arguments for the factual phase of its inquiry. Guy Pratte, counsel for Mr. Mulroney, makes closing arguments in which he pleads for the protection of Mr. Mulroney’s reputation. He speaks at length about the unreliability of Mr. Schreiber’s testimony and he attempts to define the nature of the business agreement between Mr. Mulroney and Mr. Schreiber. Mr. Pratte also addresses Mr. Mulroney’s apparent attempts to conceal his business dealings with Mr. Schreiber. The Commissioner makes closing remarks thanking counsel and members of the press.
