Lead Commission Counsel Richard Wolson resumes his cross-examination of Mr. Mulroney, a former prime minister of Canada, questioning him extensively on the subject of his interviews with author William Kaplan and his own alleged attempts to dissuade Mr. Kaplan from publishing details about cash payments from Mr. Schreiber. An exasperated Mr. Mulroney repeatedly insists that he had no obligation to tell Mr. Kaplan about his business dealings with Mr. Schreiber.
