La Politique sur le Terrain

During the May 2, 2011 federal election, the “ orange wave ” that swept through Quebec led to Ruth Ellen Brosseau being elected as the NDP Member of Parliament for the riding of Berthier—Maskinongé. After having been the subject of various criticisms, she worked hard to prove that she is indeed able to fulfill her duties as an MP. She has drastically improved her French language skills, is much more familiar with her riding, and is currently her party’s Deputy Agriculture Critic. CPAC spent one day with Ruth Ellen Brosseau around her riding.
