Michael Ignatieff (University of Toronto and Harvard University) delivers the 2013 Tanner Lecture on Human Values in Oxford (U.K.). The title of Ignatieff's address is "Representation and Responsibility: Ethics and Public Office." (May 30, 2013)

Michael Ignatieff was first elected to the House of Commons as MP for Etobicoke--Lakeshore (Ont.) in 2006 and re-elected in 2008. Ignatieff served as Liberal leader from 2008 to 2011. He resigned from Canadian politics following the loss of his seat in the 2011 election.
