Tawakkol Karman, a 2011 Nobel Peace Prize co-recipient, delivers an address on women and the struggle for peace and justice in the Arab world. Karman was awarded the prize in recognition of her non-violent struggle for peace, women's rights and democracy in Yemen. Karman is the first Yemeni, the first Arab woman and the youngest recipient to date.

This event was presented by the Centre for International Policy Studies and the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs at the Univesity of Ottawa. (November 21, 2012)
