Iran's Nuclear Gamble and Obama's Second Term

Participants at this event, organized by the Centre for International Policy Studies (CIPS) at the University of Ottawa, discuss recent events and prospects for diplomacy with Iran with a focus on how U.S. President Barack Obama's second term can affect the region.

The panellists were Peter Jones, associate professor at the University of Ottawa and expert on Middle East security and track-two diplomacy, and John Mundy, associate at CIPS and the last Canadian ambassador to be appointed to Iran before diplomatic relations were downgraded in 2007.
