The Canadian Journalism Foundation and Carleton University's School of Journalism and Communication hold an event in Ottawa titled "On the Hill, Online and In the Loop: How Social Media is Changing Politics and Reporting. The second session, "Politicians Talk Social Media," featured Marc Garneau (Liberal MP for Westmount-Ville Marie), Megan Leslie (NDP MP for Halifax), Jim Watson (Mayor of Ottawa) and Christopher Waddell (director of the School of Journalism and Communication, Carleton University).
