2012 IIC Canada Conference

The International Institute of Communications (IIC) Canada holds its 2012 annual conference in Ottawa on October 26-30. This year's theme is: "Innovation, Investment and Infrastructure." On October 29, a symposium on the promotion of Canadian content in international is also a part of this year's conference. The second session of the symposium, "A Strategy for the Promotion of Canadian Films on all screens," features Michael Kennedy (Executive Vice President, Filmed Entertainment, Cineplex Entertainment), Hussain Amarshi (President, Mongrel Media), Norm O’Reilly (Associate Professor, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ottawa), David Purdy (Senior Vice President, Content, Rogers Communications), J. Serge Sasseville (Senior Vice President, Corporate and Institutional Affairs, Quebecor Media Inc.) and Richard Stursberg (Advisor, TELUS). (October 29, 2012)
