Rockburn Presents

For over 25 years, Dave Barry’s column was syndicated in more than 500 newspapers across Canada and the United States. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize Winner for Commentary in 1988 and is a prolific writer, having published over 30 books. Two of those books were the basis for the hit TV show ‘Dave’s World’ that aired on CBS from 1993 to1997. Born and raised in Armonk, New York, Dave began his career as a reporter at the Daily Local News in West Chester, Pennsylvania, where he began writing a humour column every week. In 1983, he was hired by the Miami Herald to write a weekly humour column. Dave Barry is also a musician of note, playing lead guitar in the band Rock Bottom Remainders, whose members include some noteworthy writers such as Stephen King, Amy Tan, and Mitch Albom. Ken Rockburn spoke to Dave Barry in Miami.

Nice to see a longer interview with a writer. Small picky point: there's an error in the name of Boyden's first novel.
Dave:
That was truly an excellent interview about an interesting journey.
Tom:
Always enjoy watching Luba and her Airfarce mates. They often delivered their message subtly and effectively.
