Rockburn Presents

As a child, Edgar Kaiser Jr. saw firsthand the inner workings of his grandfather’s many interests including Kaiser Shipyards which built Liberty ships during World War II and Kaiser Motors that built automobiles in Detroit and in Argentina. After attending both Stanford and Harvard, Kaiser went to Vietnam with US AID but was in fact working as an operative for the CIA. He was an advisor to both Lyndon Johnson and Richard Nixon and owned the Denver Broncos of the National Football League. As chair of Kaiser Resources he controlled some of BC’s most important coal and energy reserves. Edgar Kaiser Jr. currently devotes much of his time to the Kaiser Mental Health and Addictions Awareness Foundation, an organization that promotes a better understanding between addiction and mental health. Ken Rockburn spoke to Edgar Kaiser Jr in Calgary.

Nice to see a longer interview with a writer. Small picky point: there's an error in the name of Boyden's first novel.
Dave:
That was truly an excellent interview about an interesting journey.
Tom:
Always enjoy watching Luba and her Airfarce mates. They often delivered their message subtly and effectively.
