Screenwriter and executive producer Graham Yost first big break came with the 1994 thriller Speed starring Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock and Dennis Hopper. From there Yost was able to spin a career that saw him working with such talent as Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks all while collecting a handful of Emmy and Golden Globe Awards. The son of Elwy Yost, a celebrated host of TVOntario's Saturday Night at the Movies, Graham first paid gig as a screenwriter was Hey Dude a children's television series for Nickelodeon. Since the success of Speed, Yost has written several other action movies such as Broken Arrow and Hard Rain, but he has been most successful with television, having written for the HBO series Band of Brothers and Boomtown and for the past few years Yost is most associated with the success of two programs the FX cable channel Justified and The Americans.
