NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair, interim Liberal Leader Bob Rae and Bloc Québécois leader Daniel Paillé continued to criticize Agriculture Minister Gerry Ritz's handling of the XL Foods beef recall.

NDP finance critic Peggy Nash, along with Mulcair and Rae, commented on Parliamentary Budget Officer Kevin Page's report on the government's spending cuts.
