Tête à Tête

In this episode, Pierre Donais sits down with Alexandre Boulerice, the NDP MP for the Quebec riding of Rosemont—La Petite Patrie.
Alexandre Boulerice was elected as a federal NDP MP on May 2, 2011. Prior to his election, he had worked as a television journalist in Quebec before serving as a communications advisor for the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE).
Mr. Boulerice had tried his luck at politics before, running in the 2003 Quebec provincial election as a Union des forces progressistes (UFP) candidate in the riding of Saint-Jean, where he was born. This party merged with Option citoyenne in 2006 to become the Québec solidaire party. He had also run federally, in 2008, as an NDP candidate, in the riding he now represents in the House of Commons.
