In this episode, Pierre Donais interviews Claude Forget.
Claude Forget studied Economics. He was Editor in Chief of the publication Quartier Latin in 1956 and 1957. He worked as a researcher for the Royal Commission of Inquiry on Tax Policy in 1963 and 1964. He served as the Associate Deputy Minister with Quebec’s Ministry of Health and Social Services from 1971 to 1973. He was elected as the Liberal MNA for the of Saint-Laurent in 1973, and was subsequently re-elected in 1976 and 1981. He was the Minister of Social Affairs from 1973 to 1976 in the cabinet of Robert Bourassa from 1973 to 1976. He resigned in November 1981. Mr. Forget is an Officer of the Order of Canada.
