Tête à tête highlights people who have made headlines in French-speaking Canada. In this episode, Pierre Donais welcomes Claude Laverdure.
Claude Laverdure started working at Canada’s Department of Foreign Affairs in 1965, and he was posted to Brussels, to Paris then to Tunis. He served as Canada’s ambassador in several countries including Haiti, Belgium and France. He is currently a senior fellow at the University of Ottawa’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs. Mr. Laverdure is a Commandeur de la Légion d'honneur and Chevalier de l'Ordre de la Pléiade.
