In this episode, Pierre Donais sits down with Maka Kotto, the Parti Québécois MNA for the riding of Bourget.
Maka Kotto was born in 1961, in Douala, Cameroon. He studied film, drama, political science, economics and law. He sat in the House of Commons as the Bloc Quebecois MP for the Quebec riding of Saint-Lambert from 2004 to 2008. He then switched to provincial politics and was elected to Quebec’s National Assembly as the MNA for Bourget in 2008. Maka Kotto is married to former Bloc Quebecois MP Caroline St-Hilaire, who is the mayor of Longueuil, located on Montreal’s south shore.
