In this episode, Pierre Donais sits down with Martin Cauchon, a former cabinet minister in Jean Chrétien's Liberal government. Mr. Cauchon was first elected to the House of Commons in October 1993, in the Quebec federal riding of Outremont. In the course of his political career, he held various ministerial positions including those of Minister of National Revenue from 1999 to 2002, and Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada from January 2002 to December 2003. As justice minister, he was an advocate for causes involving human rights issues. In 2004, he joined the law firm of Gowling Lafleur Henderson as a partner.
