Tête à tête highlights people who have made headlines in French-speaking Canada. In this episode, Pierre Donais welcomes Michel Gratton.

Michel Gratton was a founding president of the Liberal riding association for the Quebec riding of Gatineau in 1970 and regional president of the Liberal Party of Quebec between 1971 and 1972. He was elected as the Liberal MP for Gatineau in by-election held on October 11, 1972. This election was declared void on October 18,1972. Voted back in by the constituents of Gatineau during a by-election held on November 15, 1972, he was subsequently re-elected in 1973, 1976, 1981, and again in 1985. In the course of his political career, he served in various capacities including as Government House Leader, Revenue minister, Associate Minister for Electoral reform and Minister for Tourism. He ended his political career in 1989.
