Senator Pierre Claude Nolin was appointed by Prime Minister Brian Mulroney on June 18, 1993. He represents the area of De Salaberry, Que. This Montreal native earned his LL.B degree from the University of Ottawa in 1976 and has worked as a lawyer ever since. Since joining the Senate, he has served on various committees. He has also held various leadership positions within the Conservative Party since 1984.
