Pierre Donais sits down with Régine Laurent.
Régine Laurent earned a nursing diploma from the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal in 1979. An active union activist since 1984, she was elected president of the local union at Santa-Cabrini Hospital in 1985. In 1991, her interest led her to run for a position on the executive of the Fédération des infirmières et infirmiers du Québec (FIIQ). Laurent currently serves as president of the Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec (FIQ).
