Tête à Tête
Dr. Yves Lamontagne started his career as a doctor caring for Biafran children living as refugees in the Ivory Coast. He then completed his studies in psychiatry at at the Institute of Psychiatry in London. He established the Fernand-Seguin Research Centre at l'Hôpital Louis-H.-Lafontaine, and he was the founding president of the Fondation québécoise des maladies mentales. Dr. Lamontagne has received numerous awards honours including the Order of Canada and the National Order of Quebec. He served as President and CEO of the Collège des médecins du Québec from 1998 to 2010.
