►Three Commons committees consider the budget implementation bill (C-60). Finance hears from the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Canadian Labour Congress, Public Service Alliance of Canada, and other organizations.

The industry committee continues to study proposed rules for foreign investment by state-owned enterprises. Canadian Council of Chief Executives, Canadian Bar Association, and two unions provide testimony.

The veterans affairs committee also continues to look at Bill C-60 and the calculation of veterans' allowances. John Bishop, president of the Korea Veterans Association of Canada, appears.

►Labour Minister Lisa Raitt discusses main estimates at the human resources committee.

►Former RCMP officer Sherry Lee Benson-Podolchuk testifies at the status of women committee about sexual harassment in the workplace. She has claimed years of harassment while serving on the national police force. Benson-Podolchuk also testified on March 7, but was interrupted by a vote in the House of Commons.

►Officials from Status of Women Canada brief the Special Committee on Violence Against Aboriginal Women.

►The Senate legal affairs committee considers Bill C-15 with Defence Minister Peter MacKay, Maj.-Gen. Blaise Cathcart (Judge Advocate General of the Canadian Forces), Vice-Adm. Bruce Donaldson (vice-chief of the defence staff), and Col. Tim Grubb (Provost Marshal).

►CN Railway officials brief the Senate energy committee on safety measures for transporting bulk hydrocarbon products.
