The house affairs committee hears from three Alberta MPs who object to new boundary proposals for the province: Brian Jean (Fort McMurray--Athabasca), Chris Warkentin (Peace River), and Blaine Calkins (Wetaskiwin).

An additional five Alberta MPs are testifying next Tuesday.

Meanwhile, federal ethics commissioner Mary Dawson appears at the status of women committee, which is continuing to study sexual harassment in federal workplaces.

The foreign affairs committee hears from two ambassadors on the situation in Mali: Philippe Zeller (France), and Traoré Ami Diallo from Mali itself. Also apeparing are officials from CARE Canada, World Vision Canada, and Oxfam Canada.

RCMP deputy commissioner Mike Cabana discusses policing costs with MPs on the public safety committee.

What's the current state of engineering in Canada? The industry committee seeks answers from Engineers Canada, the Canadian Academy of Engineering, and other expert witnesses.

Foreign Affairs officials brief the human rights subcommittee on the situation in Honduras.

And across the Atlantic, Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney appears at a British parliamentary committee in advance of his July appointment as head of the Bank of England.
