►Debate continues on the first budget implementation bill (C-60). A time allocation motion passed yesterday to limit second-reading debate to today plus another two days.

►Debate also returns to a bill to implement a 2010 strategy for sodium reduction is debated for the first time. Bill C-460 was introduced by NDP health critic Libby Davies, who wants to reduce salt content in pre-packaged foods. The strategy came from a working group convened by Health Canada.
