Bills C-48 and C-49 are expected on today's House of Commons agenda as MPs continues to sit late.

Bill C-48 contains several tax amendments.

Bill C-49 is the government's plan to rebrand and remake the Museum of Civilizxation as the Canadian Museum of History.

►Debate continues on Bill C-458. Conservative MP Peter Braid hopes to establish an annual "National Charities Week" at the end of February. Charitable gifts made up to 60 days after the end of a taxation year would be tax-deductable.

►A second-reading vote is scheduled on Bill C-54. The legislation would reform how an accused person is designated "not criminally responsible," with public safety the paramount consideration.
