The NDP is using an opposition day motion to seek a cutoff to Senate funding by Canada Day.

Here is the motion from Treasury Board Critic Mathieu Ravignat:

“That all funding should cease to be provided to the Senate beginning on July 1, 2013.”

The parties also hold their weekly caucus meetings on Parliament Hill.
