►MPs vote on a bill to establish the parliamentary budget officer as an official officer of Parliament. Bill C-476, introduced by Opposition Leader Thomas Mulcair, is at second reading.

►Bill C-480 also faces a second-reading vote.

►New Democrat MP Kennedy Stewart introduces a motion to allow electronic petitions for submission to Parliament.

►The parties hold their regular caucus meetings on Parliament Hill. Prime Minister Stephen Harper, meanwhile, is in London.
