In the Senate - Friday

Senators held their third reading vote at 10:30amET on the second budget bill (C-45). A Royal Assent ceremony with Prime Minister Stephen Harper followed. Also included were bills C-313, C-24, C-44, C-50, C-36, and C-300.

The Senate has adjourned until Feb. 5.
