The Canadian Bar Association held its annual meeting in Quebec City from August 17^th to 19^th.

On August 19^th, the session entitled "A Woman's Place is in the House: The House of Commons, the Courthouse and In-House Counsel," featured Veronica Jackson (Ministry of Attorney General-Legal Services,Victoria), Honourable Anne McLellan (P.C. Bennett Jones, Edmonton), Honourable Lois Hoegg (Justice, Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador), and Valérie Beaudin (Bell Canada).
