March 27th 2009, McGill University organized a conference called; "
Public Policy in Crisis? Understanding Policy Making in Canada".
This panel discussed the role of evidence in policy-making. On the panel were:
Christopher Manfredi (Professor & Dean, Faculty of Arts McGill University),
Ian Brodie (McGill Institute for the Study of Canada),
Wendy Thomson (Director of School of Social Work, McGill University),
Matthew Medelsohn (Former Deputy Minister) and the Rt. Hon.
Joe Clark (Professor of Developing Area Studies, McGill University).
