Puneet Birgi sports pink at the annual CIBC Run for the Cure: an event dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer research. Members of Parliament
Jay Hill (Conservative),
Paul Dewar (NDP) and
Martha Hall Findlay (Liberal) teamed up with 25 Parliamentary staff and got 'political in pink' for the run. Puneet finds out what made them set political differences aside and brought them together for this important cause.
October 5th, 2009 marked World Teachers Day. In recognition, Prime Minister
Stephen Harper honoured 84 outstanding teachers for their contribution to Canada's future at the 2009 Prime Minister's Awards for Teaching Excellence.
