The federal broadcast regulator will hear from members of both the cable and satellite industry and over-the-air television broadcasters as they debate the future broadcast structure.

That would only piss off all cable viewers who want to watch those American networks. What would be better is if the CRTC prohibited CTV, Canwest, and City from airing any NBC/CBS/ABC/FOX programming on their lineup because we can already watch those.

If the CRTC told the BDUs to drop the 4+1US stations (possibly make an exception for PBS) not solve all the simultaneous/non-simultaneous sub issues?
