Canadian Defence & Foreign Affairs Institute Annual Conference
On November 2^nd, 2009, the Canadian Defence & Foreign Affairs Institute (CDFAI) and the Canadian International Council (CIC) jointly hosted the 2009 Annual Ottawa Conference. The focus of this year's conference was Canada's National Strategic Relations: NATO & NORAD.

In the final panel presentation of the conference, former Chief of the Defence Staff, General (Ret'd) Ray Henault; Professor of Political Science at Simon Fraser University, Alexander Moens; and Paul Chapin of The Pearson Peacekeeping Centre discussed the future of Canada's role in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.
