Pandemics: Threat, Preparedness, Response
On November 26^th, 2009, in Toronto an expert panel discussed the complex issues surrounding the current H1N1 influenza pandemic. Dr Vivek Goel, President & CEO, Ontario Agency for Health Protection and Promotion, Dr Alison McGeer, Infectious Disease Consultant, Mount Sinai Hospital and others focused on the delivery of the H1N1 vaccine to the provinces and that the wave of infection appears to be peaking in some parts of the country and is perhaps past its peak in others.
