The World in 2015: Implications for Canada
The National Capital Branch of the Canadian International Council organized this two-day conference, which was held in Ottawa from January 21 st to 22 nd, 2010.
Louise Fréchette from the Centre for International Governance Innovation moderated this January 21st session that discussed the issue of governance in 2015. Louis Pauly, the Canada Research Chair in Globalization and Governance at the University of Toronto, spoke about the challenges faced by global institutions. Haile Menkerios, the UN's assistant secretary general for political affairs, discussed the Security Council in 2015.

Wouldn't our tax dollars be better spent closing the in and out hole v/s thousands/millions of dollars on lawyers fees? Maybe it's time to raid the electoral officer's office and see who's pulling what strings. His partisan actions speaks volumes.

Election Canada is demonstrating they are partisan with their appeal to the courts. This is not the first decision electons Canada has lost at the expence of Canadian tax payers. Clearly their actions are not impartial but partisan at best. Fire them all.

Haile Menkerios has been a CIA agent since his student days. So, there is no surprise about his statement.By the way, he also claims he has an MA from Harvard. It is a lie which should be challenged at the UN

I am very proud Eritrean Canadian living in the USA. As Eritrean, I am very proud of Haile for his achievement. I can understand why Eritrea was sanctioned when diplomat like Haile are replaced by puppets who extend the bulling hand of Isayas Afeworki

ambasador haile is not impartial and he is not the one to be asked about the UNSC resolution on Eritea, because he is part of the so called Eritrean opposition. he will go to any length to demonize Eritrea. He might as well be Ethiopian ambasador to the U

AMB Haile Menkerios reply to the question posed on Resolution 1907 is just hogwash.
