On February 1st and 2nd, 2010, in Ottawa, the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters Association held its economic recovery summit. This year's theme was "Roadmap to Recovery Summit". During this opening session, economists and academics discuss structural changes that will reshape Canada’s economic recovery over the next five years and develop a consensus about what should be done to encourage investments and innovation.
