NDP leader Jack Layton and MP Olivia Chow join thousands of participants to raise money and awareness at the 5th annual Harry's Spring Run-Off to fight prostate cancer. Layton was diagnosed with the illness in late-2009.

What exactly does a member of Parliament do for a living? Conservative Blaine Calkins often hears this question from students in his riding of Wetaskiwin, Alta. We join him at Lacombe Composite High School’s career centre, where he talks to young people on public life as a career option.

The Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA) is an alliance of student associations and student unions from across Canada. CASA has been hosting the "Lobby Conference" since the mid-1990s.  For four days in Ottawa each March, students get to meet with over 120 MPs and Senators during "Homecoming on the Hill." We follow four students as they meet with MPs and gather in "the operations room" where students prepare for their meetings and write about their experiences on Twitter.

Just in time for Easter, Etobicoke Centre MP Borys Wrzesnewskyj rolls up his sleeves for a day of baking some traditional Ukrainian recipes at his family-owned bakery.

Liberal MP Maria Minna joins constituents for the 44th annual Toronto Beaches Lions Easter Parade – one of the largest of its kind in North America.

New Democrat MP Irene Mathyssen, her part’s status of women critic, joins a 1K run to raise money for the London Abused Women’s Centre. Mathyssen also sheds light on all levels of government in her London-Fanshawe riding are working together to help women.
