Blaine Calkins often hears this question from students in his riding of
Wetaskiwin, Alta. We join him at
Lacombe Composite High School’s career centre, where he talks to young people on public life as a career option.
The
Canadian Alliance of Student Associations (CASA) is an alliance of student associations and student unions from across Canada. CASA has been hosting the "Lobby Conference" since the mid-1990s. For four days in Ottawa each March, students get to meet with over 120 MPs and Senators during "Homecoming on the Hill." We follow four students as they meet with MPs and gather in "the operations room" where students prepare for their meetings and write about their experiences on Twitter.
