Pierre Donais speaks with Tony Cannavino, president of the Canadian Professional Police Association.
Tony Cannavino started his policing career in 1972 as an officer with the Sûreté du Québec. During his 31-year career, he worked in the Outaouais region and in Montreal. In 1985, he launched his union career as the director of the Outaouais chapter of the pour l'Association des policiers provinciaux du Québec. In 2003, he became the first presidentof the newly formed Canadian Professional Police Association.
