Ask an MP

Have a question for Canada’s Members of Parliament? Submit it here and your question could be featured Sunday at 8:30 pm ET / 5:30 pm PT on the “Ask an MP” segment of On the Bright Side. Each week, the On the Bright Side team meets with MPs from all parties to ask them a variety of questions about their lives both on and off the Hill. What music is on their iPod? What are they doing for Valentine’s Day? This is your chance to put a question to Canada’s elected officials.

Host

Host - Glen McInnis
Glen McInnis is the intrepid host of On the Bright Side, taking a look at the behind-the-scenes cooperation of Canada’s elected officials. Born and raised in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, and being a Cape Bretoner, Glen has the gift of gab. His distinctive personality and informal approach brings a fresh perspective to political news.

Since joining CPAC's talent lineup in 2001, Glen has reported on Parliament Hill and assisted in the development of new programming and documentaries. Over five seasons, he played host to the streeter-style Outburst. His show Great Canadian Tour earned CPAC a Galaxi Award from the Canadian Cable Telecommunications Association (CCTA) in 2003.

Prior to joining CPAC, Glen developed his journalistic skills while working with CBC Radio in Sydney, Nova Scotia, and occasionally appeared as guest host for Breakfast Television on ATV in Halifax. He has also worked for Calgary’s A-Channel where he produced The Big Breakfast and often collaborated as news writer.
