I found your Randy Bachman show just cruising around the dial and enjoyed it very much/ As it ended there was a short clip and promo for a show called "Shooter".
I know nothing about the show the show but my long time friend, photographer Allan de la Plante, has always referred to himself as a "shooter" rather than a photographer and I started to try and find contact info for them to see if they would find him an appropriate subject. As I presume you know that show is limited to military photography so that seems to be a dead end.
I am writing this to introduce his name and career to you. Allan has 40 years of shooting high level sports in Canada from Olympics to the Crazy Canucks and Gilles Villeneuve, over the years building an international reputation for himself. His story certainly deserves more exposure to Canadians. Anything that you might be able to do with your CPAC contacts to advance that cause would be greatly appreciated.
