WATCH: Ministers provide update on federal response to Hurricane Fiona
Ministers provide an update on the federal response to Hurricane Fiona. The post-tropical storm, which made landfall in eastern Nova Scotia on the morning of Sept. 24, brought damaging winds, flooding, and power outages to much of Atlantic Canada and parts of Quebec.
The news conference includes ministers Dominic LeBlanc (intergovernmental affairs, infrastructure and communities), Anita Anand (defence), Sean Fraser (immigration), Lawrence MacAulay (veterans affairs), Diane Lebouthillier (national revenue), and Gudie Hutchings (rural economic development).

WATCH: NDP and Black Class Action Secretariat
NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh holds a news conference on Parliament Hill alongside the Black Class Action Secretariat.
The non-profit group is announcing the next step in its lawsuit against the federal government over discrimination of Black public servants.
Also participating are NDP MP Matthew Green, representatives from Amnesty International, the Professional Institute of the Public Service of Canada, the African Nova Scotian Decade for People of African Descent Coalition, and the African Nova Scotian Justice Institute.
