Nova Scotia 2017 Provincial Election
CPAC’s Bill Kendrick reports on the provincial campaign in Nova Scotia where Stephen McNeil’s Liberals are hoping to become the first party to win back to back majorities in nearly 30 years. Conservative leader Jamie Baillie is running on a campaign where the economy and jobs are its first priority. The NDP under Gary Burrill is promoting the idea of deficit spending to spur a lacklustre economy and to eliminate tuition for all students attending community college. McNeil, a former refrigerator repair-man , is focusing on the economy but with balanced budgets and renewed emphasis on education. Nova Scotians will be making their decision on May 30.
